hey there! My name is bailey.

And I am so glad you stopped by. If you have made it this far, you are probably hoping to learn a little bit about me. So to start, let’s talk about the picture below. That’s me in the mountains just outside of Santiago, Chile — a country I was lucky enough to live for about five months.

As wonderful and beautiful as it was, moving to Chile was not always easy. Sometimes it was challenging, uncomfortable and even a little scary. But I’d be lying if I told you I wanted anything different. It’s what I signed up for. It’s how I prefer to learn. I like experiential learning, growing and problem solving. And I hope that reflects the work you find on my website.

You don’t have to get a job that makes others feel comfortable about what they perceive as your success. You don’t have to explain what you plan to do with your life. You don’t have to justify your education by demonstrating its financial rewards. You don’t have to maintain an impeccable credit score. Anyone who expects you to do any of those things has no sense of history or economics or science or the arts.
You have to pay your electric bill. You have to be kind. You have to give it all you got. You have to find people who love you truly and love them back with the same truth. But that’s all.
